captains log: stardate whatever.something

it all started about a week ago, the visual effects for vietnam flashback was almost complete and the hard disk on my mac failed taking with it all the work i had put in over the past month or so.

the mac is now fixed, i picked it up today and all is well with that, apart from the data loss. but good will come of this, since losing all my work I have been going through all the original un-edited footage from Lock & Load 2 and have found some real gems that would have gone un-noticed.

This has also given me a nudge into creating a team of people that can produce visual effects en-mass, the main goals of this is to increase productivity so we can release movies quicker and in the long term have the ability to offer freelance work for other peoples projects and make a few quid in the process.

so if there is anyone who is interested in learning how to do visual effects and wants to put some time and effort in to make a few quid then please get in touch.

Another update

been balls deep in work lately, so here is a run down of whats been happening.

Visual effects for Lock & Load 2 is progressing nicely, going to be arranging another reshoot for some VC action. So will be posting some more detailed info on that shortly.

Hammer falls is due to finish filming this weekend, so when Lock & Load 2 scene 1 is complete i should be able to motor through Hammer falls.

Hey Tom Jones fuck you is still in editing, this is a fairly effects intensive movie. Its something i made on a day off with a couple of friends, nothing too big but something to try some new effects out on. Again, this will resume when Lock & Load 2 is further progressed.

BC Productions is currently looking for more people so if you have any skills or enthusiasm you would like to offer then get in touch. I am also looking to expand the effects department i.e. ME so if you have experience in adobe after effects or would like to learn after effects then please get in touch
